Actilyse 50mg vial is a medicine which is used in ischaemic stroke, pulmonary embolism and treatment of myocardial infarction. Actilyse contains alteplase.

Myocardial infarction: Alteplase is given intravenously as thrombolytic therapy to patients with suspected occlusive coronary artery thrombi. Alteplase should be given as soon as possible or within 12 hours of symptom onset. Pulmonary embolism: Alteplase is given as thrombolytic therapy in patients with acute massive pulmonary embolism. Acute ischaemic stroke: Alteplase is given as thrombolytic in the treatment of acute ischaemic stroke.
